Features

This book provides a superb level of detail in its explanation of each topic, including a clear and efficient discussion of background and clinical relevance as well as scenarios. The use of tables is consistent and frequent in each chapter, which helps readers create mental summaries of the material and organizes the teaching points. The illustrations and the use of graphics and schematics are highlights of this book, as they are extremely useful for learning and conceptualization of topics as well as for demonstrating the anatomical features and approaches in surgeries.

 

Assessment

This book achieves its goal of educating students and trainees about almost every topic in neurosurgery. It is comprehensive, yet to the point and brief enough to contain everything in one volume.
