Daniel Wallace, MD is Assistant Program Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at Cedars-Sinai and an attending physician in the Division of Rheumatology. He is a leading researcher in the area of rheumatic disease, and has more than two dozen clinical studies and trials in progress. Dr. Wallace is also well published in the field, with more than 300 peer-reviewed articles, 20 book chapters, and eight textbooks. He is an editor of the eighth edition of Dubois’ Lupus Erythematosus and Related Syndromes.

Dr. Wallace is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He is also active in many professional and volunteer organizations: he has served as chair of the Lupus Foundation of America, the Research and Education Foundation of the American College of Rheumatology, and on the board of directors of the Lupus Research Institute and the American Society for Apheresis. Dr. Wallace has received the Jane Wyman Humanitarian Award from the Southern California Arthritis Foundation, the Spirit of Hope Award from the Scleroderma Foundation and the Achievement Award from the Lupus Research Institute, among many others.
