Guy Eslick, DrPH, PhD is Professor of Cancer Epidemiology and Medical Statistics Surgery, Nepean Clinical School, University of Sydney, Australia. He is the author of Gastrointestinal Diseases and Their Associated Infections.
In addition to his academic appointments above, Professor Eslick is co-director of The Whiteley-Martin Research Unit where there is a strong emphasis on evidence-based surgery, surgical oncology and cancer epidemiology. His current research focuses on determining risk factors and understanding the epidemiology of gastrointestinal diseases for upper gastrointestinal cancers, predominantly, esophageal cancer and related disorders, as well as understanding the epidemiology of rare cancers.
Dr. Eslick has an international reputation in the field of noncardiac chest pain, which he has been researching for over a decade. He has over 100 publications, is an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Epidemiology, and serves on the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Gastroenterology.
