The GUIDE-IT (Guiding Evidence Based Therapy Using Biomarker Intensified Treatment in Heart Failure) trial was designed to prospectively study the relationship between change in natriuretic peptide concentration, cardiac remodeling, and clinical events in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).
