Glenn N. Levine, MD, FACC, FAHA, is Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Michael E. DeBakey Medical Center in Houston. He is the author of Cardiology Secrets, 4th Edition, a title in the popular Secrets series.
Dr. Levine received his medical degree from Columbia University and performed his postgraduate work at Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Levine’s areas of clinical expertise include interventional cardiology, acute coronary syndromes, and advanced cardiovascular imaging. His research interests include acute coronary syndromes, percutaneous coronary intervention pharmacotherapy, antiplatelet and antithrombin inhibitors, and advanced cardiovascular imaging.
Dr. Levine has been the writing committee chair for several scientific statements and guidelines, including the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association/Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Guideline for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and the American Heart Association Scientific Statement on Sexual Activity and Cardiovascular Disease.
