Features
This comprehensive review of pediatric imaging covers multiple organ systems such as the central nervous system, hepatobiliary system, and cardiovascular system. A variety of disorders including infections, tumors, and congenital diseases are addressed. The text is clearly written and easy to follow, and is supplemented by high-quality images with clear captions. The gastrointestinal section is particularly well written. However, many chapters have a relative lack of images in comparison to the amount of text.
Assessment
The 13th edition of this venerable book remains as high quality as its predecessors. It is a must-have book for all pediatric imagers.
