This second edition seeks to provide an update on new diagnoses and neuroimaging and neuropathology. It provides numerous new images and organizes important information in boxes for easy review.
Students, residents, fellows, and practicing neuroradiologists alike will find this book to be helpful and informative.
The topics range from trauma, infection, demyelinating disorders, and neoplasms to congenital malformations. Magnetic resonance images, computed tomography, and angiographic images are used with captions clearly identifying pathology. Gross pathology images augment readers’ understanding. The book is succinctly written and organized.
Overall, this is an excellent addition to any radiologist’s library and provides updates in neuroimaging that have occurred since the first edition. The concise writing, well-organized layout, and correlation with gross pathology makes neuroimaging easy to comprehend and clinically applicable.
