The images and descriptions are of the highest quality and the videos and additional resources on the website further enrich the material.

Audience

The book is intended for learners across the spectrum, from medical students (or other practitioners) all the way through to seasoned practitioners/physicians with experience. This resource undoubtedly meets the needs of its intended audiences and is accessible to learners at all levels. The authors and contributors are credible authorities on the subject.

Features

This book covers common physical exam findings and clinical presentations for most of the diseases that children encounter. The images are among the most helpful and valuable aspects of this atlas, as they allow readers to appreciate the subtle features that they would otherwise miss through just reading. The book covers all organ systems as well as other pediatric subspecialties (surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, pediatric gynecology).

Assessment

This is an essential resource for anyone caring for children. Throughout my training and now in my practice, I refer to it regularly. I additionally rely on it as the resource I use when teaching students. The seventh edition is truly improved, with enhanced image quality and quantity in addition to the updates in each section.
