Cecilia M. Brennecke, MD is medical director at Johns Hopkins Imaging at Green Spring in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the author of Breast Imaging, 2nd Edition, a volume in the Case Review series.

Dr. Brennecke received her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency in radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has a fellowship in ultrasound, is board certified in diagnostic radiology, and is a member of the Professional Advisory Board at Breastcancer.org.

As a breast imaging specialist, Dr. Brennecke interprets mammography, performs ultrasound and breast MRI, conducts clinical breast exams, and performs the newest image-guided biopsy procedures.
