Adam Myers, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. A respected physiologist and researcher, he has written for and served on the editorial boards of several recognized publications. He is co-author of Netter’s Essential Physiology.
Dr. Myers’ research focuses on understanding the mechanisms behind the development of cardiovascular disease. Of particular interest is how such factors as alcohol, diet, gender and sex hormones contribute to cardiovascular disease.
