Alexander Trott, MD has educated emerging medical professionals in the field of emergency medicine for more than two decades. He is director of the Clinical Practice Improvement Unit and associate chief of staff at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and Hospital. Dr. Trott also serves as director of Clinical Resource Management and associate medical director for CRM Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati. He has contributed several texts on wound care, including Wounds and Lacerations.
Dr. Trott holds a degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is a member of many national and local committees, and has published numerous journal articles and abstracts. He is recognized for his work in the field, including the Bogen Research Reward, the SAEM Best Educational Research award, the Golden Apple Best Teacher Emergency Medicine, and has been nominated for the UC College of Medicine Distinguished Professor award.
