Anna Woodbury, MD, CAc is Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine; Associate Program Director, Emory Multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship; and Division Chief for Pain Management at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Atlanta. She is a co-author of Pain Medicine Board Review.

 

Dr. Woodbury earned her medical degree at Washington University in Saint Louis. She did her residency at Emory University Hospital, where she also performed a fellowship in Pain Medicine. She is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and licensed in Acupuncture.

 

Her clinical specialization includes nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulator trial and placement, non-narcotic pain management, and acupuncture.

 

Dr. Woodbury has been a member of the national Committee on Pain Medicine for the American Society of Anesthesiologists (2013-2015) and is currently a member of the Pain Management Committee for VAMC-Atlanta.  She has presented nationally and written book chapters, articles and clinical reviews on integrative medicine and its applications for chronic pain management, anesthesia, and neuroprotection.
