Carole Jenny, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics at Brown Medical School and is a member of the expert faculty of the International Society of Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also the Director of the Child Protection Program at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where she developed a comprehensive program titled ChildSafe. Dr. Jenny is nationally known for her work in child protection.

Dr. Jenny’s health research interests include fatal neglect, abusive head trauma and factitious disorders by proxy. She is an active participant with the American Academy of Pediatrics and Past Chair of the Section of Child Abuse and Neglect of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is the editor of Child Abuse and Neglect: Diagnosis, Treatment and Evidence.
