C. Richard Conti, MD is a professor of medicine within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida.  He is a leading educator in the field, and has traveled worldwide to participate in education, service and research. Dr. Conti is an author of the widely-used textbook, The Netter Collection of Medical Illustrations: Cardiovascular System, with the 2nd edition due to publish in 2014.

Dr. Conti is active in numerous professional societies outside the United States and has been an invited lecturer for several international cardiac societies. He has served as president of the American College of Cardiology, and helped to establish a relationship with the European Society of Cardiology which has invaluable sharing of scientific information and international research opportunities. He has also served as honorary chairman of the 16th Great Wall International Congress of Cardiology & American College of Cardiology Symposium.
