Daniel H. Kim, MD, FACS is an expert in minimally invasive spinal surgery, both endoscopic and robotic, peripheral nerve surgery, and complex spinal reconstruction, and director of reconstructive spinal and peripheral nerve surgery within the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. He is an author of the Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Spinal Techniques and Atlas of Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
Dr. Kim completed his residency in neurosurgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA, and fellowship in complex reconstructive spinal surgery in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopedics at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He is board certified in neurological surgery, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, Western Neurosurgical Society, and the Society of Neurological Surgeons.
