The 2017 British Medical Association (BMA) Awards took place September 11th  in London. A panel of doctors and educators select the winning publications based on their applicability to audience, production quality and originality. This year, Elsevier received four first place prizes and 24 Highly Commended honors. In addition, the BMA Illustrated Book Award was presented to Auerbach’s Wilderness Medicine by Drs. Paul S. Auerbach, Tracy A. Cushing and N. Stuart Harris.
