Glenn R. Stryjewski, MD, MPH is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. He previously served as the Associate Residency Program Director of Pediatrics for Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Stryjewski is the co-author of Pediatrics: A Competency-Based Companion.
Board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care, Dr. Stryjewski leads the critical care program at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. For over 5 years he served as the Associate Director for the Pediatrics Residency Training Program at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Stryjewski has a particular interest in simulation education and served as the Chair of the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Simulation Education Taskforce. He completed his internship and residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center. During fellowship he also pursued a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University.
Dr. Stryjewski remains actively engaged in the teaching of medical students as well as residents and fellows. He leads a group during the introduction to clinical medicine course for 2nd year medical students. He also teaches the introductory statistics and evidence based medicine course to first year medical students. Dr. Stryjewski has won several teaching award throughout his career.
