Gregory Fischer, MD is associate professor of Anesthesiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He is also director of Adult Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia. Certified in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology, Dr. Fischer received his MD from the University of Zurich and completed residency programs in Anesthesiology at Kantonsspital Aarau, as well as Internal Medicine and Intensive Care at Stadtspital Triemli. He also served in a fellowship in Anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Fischer is co-author of Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography: A Companion to Kaplan’s Cardiac Anesthesia.
