Karen Marcdante, MD is professor and Vice-Chair of Education in pediatrics and is an Associate Dean of Curriculum at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a highly regarded educator and clinician, and is an editor of Nelson Essentials of Pediatrics.
Dr. Marcdante holds an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine. She has been recognized for her excellence in teaching with the Learning Resources innovative Educational Project Award, the Presidential Citation for Quality Indicator Development Task Force of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and is a member of the Society of Teaching Scholars.
