Karen L. Reuter, MD, FACR, is a professor in the Department of Radiology at Lahey Clinic Medical Center. She has nearly 40 years of experience in the field, with clinical and research interest in the areas of abdominal imaging, ultrasound, and women’s imaging. She is an author of Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound, 3rd Edition, a volume in the Case Review Series.
Dr. Reuter holds a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed an internship at Washington Hospital Medical Center, a residency in radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center in ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Dr. Reuter is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She has served as past president of the American Association for Women Radiologists.
