Kenneth Swaiman, MD is Director Emeritus of the Division of Pediatric Neurology and Professor Emeritus of Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Swaiman is a leader in the field, and is acknowledged as one of the nation’s first pediatric neurologists. He is author of Swaiman’s Pediatric Neurology, which is now in its fifth edition.
Dr. Swaiman is active in numerous professional organizations, and is founder of the Child Neurology Society and Foundation—the first organization of its kind. He earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota, and extended his training in neurology and pediatrics at Fairview-University Medical Center.
