Larry R. Cochard, PhD is an associate professor of Medical Education and Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He is also director of the school’s anatomy and histology laboratories. He is the author of Netter’s Atlas of Human Embryology, and a co-author of Netter’s Introduction to Imaging.

Dr. Cochard’s professional interests include embryology and undergraduate medical education. He has developed several teaching resources including websites for imaging, radiologic anatomy, and electron micrographs. He earned a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin in 1981.
