Martin St. John Sutton, MBBS practices cardiology and internal medicine and serves as the Director of Noninvasive Imaging at the Penn Heart and Vascular Center. He is also a Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. St. John Sutton received his medical degree from the Guys Hospital Medical School in London and completed post-graduate training at the Guys Hospital Medical School-London, Cambridge University Hospital, and Royal Brompton Hospital-London.
Dr. St. John Sutton specializes in cardiovascular medicine with a concentration in adult congenital heart disease and noninvasive testing. His research interests include congenital heart disease in adults, consultative cardiology, echocardiography, general cardiology, and transesophageal imaging. He has received several recognitions, including Philadelphia Magazine, Top Docs Issue in 2002 and 2004, and Best Doctors in America for seven consecutive years, from 2003-2010.
Dr. St. John Sutton is the author of Echocardiography in Heart Failure a volume in the Practical Echocardiography Series.
