Maureen C. McMahon, MD is a Primary Care General Pediatrician with Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, practicing at the satellite location at the Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood Pennsylvania. She is the Associate Medical Director at the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Philadelphia. Dr. McMahon is the co-author of Pediatrics: A Competency-Based Companion.
Board Certified in Pediatrics, Dr. McMahon has practiced General Pediatrics since 1998. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Hunter College, and medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. McMahon completed the Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship at Michigan State University, and is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Jefferson Medical College. She is a group instructor for Introduction to Clinical Medicine for second year students, and also teaches third year medical students in the office component of the Pediatric Clerkship. Dr McMahon is co-chief of the Continuing Education Committee of Main Line Health, and is Campus Chief in Pediatrics at the Lankenau Medical Center.
