Nancy M. Major, MD is a Professor of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her area of health research interest is musculoskeletal imaging with a concentration in sports related injuries, musculoskeletal tumors and biomechanics associated with injuries.
Dr. Major is a well-published author in peer reviewed health journals within the field, and serves a co-editor of Musculoskeletal MR. She has also served as co-editor for a number of other radiology medical books and references, including Netter’s Correlative Imaging: Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Musculoskeletal MRI, 2nd Edition, A Practical Approach to Radiology, Fundamentals of Body CT, 3rd Edition and Radiology Core Review. She has a special interest in education, and was named Teacher of the Year when she served as a member of the faculty at Duke University School of Medicine.
