The book is divided into the major organ systems with subchapters outlining the pertinent physical examination findings and how to conduct the examination. The illustrations and figures are outstandingly well presented, descriptive, and intuitive. There are a few references to the standard books on physical examination if readers wish more detail. MORE

Like previous editions, this one is a comprehensive resource that covers clinical and histological presentation of disease as well as expected management plans. Access to this book will help pathologists make correct diagnoses on a day-to-day basis and keep them up to date on the potential impact their diagnoses will have on patient management. Dreaded pitfalls are discussed by expert pathologists and complex terminology is clarified. This is an excellent resource for any pathologist who wants to stay relevant in the evolving field of gynecologic and obstetric pathology. MORE

This is a fabulous book. It truly covers all areas of hematopathology. The photomicrographs are simply stunning, both in the print version and in “living color” in the online version. The color compensation is virtually perfect. Of note, all references are listed in the online version only. Much appreciated is the inclusion of the 2016 revision to the WHO classification of myeloid neoplasms and acute leukemia, just one of many recent and rapid changes in this field. MORE

If I was to choose one word to describe this book, it would be comprehensive.
Unlike other books that focus on singular subtopics in this field, this is truly a go-to reference for all things spine. Each section is color coded, allowing for quicker reference between sections. Section categories range from basic science to anatomic sections of the spine, and from diagnosis to specific pathologies in the spine. This is a classic that should be a core reference in every orthopedic program and medical school library as well as for fellows and attendings practicing spine surgery. MORE
