The book has evolved over these many editions to take its place as one of the important general textbooks in the field. With a new co-editor (Dr. Juul), the book has new expertise in the areas of neonatal neurology and hematology. MORE

The book is divided into the major organ systems with subchapters outlining the pertinent physical examination findings and how to conduct the examination. The illustrations and figures are outstandingly well presented, descriptive, and intuitive. There are a few references to the standard books on physical examination if readers wish more detail. MORE
