Peter Abrahams MBBS FRCS(ED) FRCR DO(Hon) FHEA is Prof. “Emeritus” of Clinical Anatomy at Warwick Medical School, Gibbet Hill; UK National Teaching fellow 2011; a Life fellow of Girton college, Cambridge; and a Visiting Prof LKC School of Medicine, NTU Singapore. He served as Prof (PT) of clinical anatomy at SGU Grenada for 25 years. He is a prolific writer, and is an author of McMinn and Abrahams’ Clinical Atlas of Human Anatomy, 7th Edition, Weir & Abrahams’ Imaging Atlas of Human Anatomy, 5th Edition, Gray’s Anatomy Review, 2nd Edition, and Abrahams Visual Guide to Clinical Anatomy.
Dr. Abrahams earned his degree at Middlesex Hospital Medical School, and went on to earn a British Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Iowa in Anatomical Education. He has lectured doctors and surgeons worldwide and worked as an anatomical consultant for the World Health Organization. Throughout his career, he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and 15 books. Dr. Abrahams has been recognized with the BMA Electronic Publishing Prize, the Richard Asher Prize from the Royal Society of Medicine, and has been named an honored member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists.
