Philip J. DiSaia, MD is a world-renowned gynecologic oncologist and research and has committed more than 30 years to the study of gynecologic cancers, with particular focus on the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of ovarian carcinoma. He is Medical Director of the Todd Cancer Institute.
His extensive research in the field has resulted in the publication of more than 250 research papers, abstracts, book chapters, and textbooks, including Women’s Health Review and Clinical Gynecologic Oncology, 8th Edition. Dr. DiSaia has also served on the editorial boards and as editor of several academic journals. He holds an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. DiSaia is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Subspecialty Board of Gynecologic Oncology.
