Robert N. Hotchkiss, MD is medical director of clinical research and director of research for the Hand & Upper Extremity Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He also serves as director of Translational and External Initiatives and is an associate attending orthopaedic surgeon, Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Hotchkiss specializes in the treatment of elbow injuries, hand and wrist injuries and arthritis, and vascular disorders of the hand. He is an editor of the two-volume set, Green’s Operative Hand Surgery, 6th Edition.
Dr. Hotchkiss completed his MD and residencies at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and a hand fellowship at the Raymond M. Curtis Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital. In addition, he has received certification in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery.
