Ron Walls, MD serves as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is highly regarded in the field of emergency medicine, has authored more than 130 articles in scientific publications, served as editor of numerous publications and peer reviewer of Anesthesia and the New England Journal of Medicine. He serves as senior editor of Rosen’s Emergency Medicine: Concepts and Clinical Practice, 7th Edition.

As an educator, Dr. Walls has served as an Invited Visiting Professor at nearly 40 institutions, and presented at various conferences internationally. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field through the receipt of national awards for his teaching and academic leadership from the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
