Stephen R. Thompson, MBBS, Med, FRCSC, is currently a fellow at the Fowler-Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He is on the faculty of the Miller Review Course in Orthopaedics. Dr. Thompson is the co-author, with Dan A. Zlotolow, of Handbook of Splinting and Casting and also the co-author of Review of Orthopaedics, 6th Edition.
Dr. Thompson received his medical degree from Sydney Medical School in Australia. He performed a residency in orthopaedics at the University of Maryland’s R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Institute program. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology and a master’s degree in medical education from the University of Toronto.
