Stuart J. Hutchison, MD has established a reputation as one of the premier cardiac diagnostic imaging specialists in the world. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary Division of Cardiology. His main clinical interests are echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.

Dr. Hutchison is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Canadian Cardiovascular Society.

Dr. Hutchison has published widely in peer-reviewed health journals, authored more than two dozen textbook chapters, and lectures internationally several times a year. He is author of the Principles of Cardiovascular Imaging series.
