Stuart Mirvis, MD is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research areas of interest include emergency and trauma radiology, applications of multidetector CT in trauma, optimizing imaging utilization in trauma and emergencies, and adaptation of imaging equipment for use in acute care settings.

Dr. Mirvis is the Associate Editor of Radiology, Editor in Chief of Applied Radiology and author of Emergency Radiology. He is a founding member and Past-President of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, and a long-standing associate of the world-renowned R. Adams Cowley Shock-Trauma Center at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
