Tommaso Falcone, MD is a professor of surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and chairman of the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Falcone has published more than 500 original manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters, is on the editorial boards of more than 20 journals, and is co-editor of several textbooks, including Basic, Advanced, and Robotic Laparoscopic Surgery, a volume in the Female Pelvic Surgery Video Atlas Series.

Dr. Falcone holds a medical degree from McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, where he also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology. Dr. Falcone is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in general obstetrics and gynecology, and in reproductive endocrinology. He also holds certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Falcone has served on the board of directors of many societies, and is past president of the Society for Reproductive Surgeons. He is an innovator and has been recognized for his contributions to the field with numerous awards, including the Syntex Wyeth Award of the Quebec Association of OB/GYN, and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Infertility surgery video award, among many others.
