Thereafter, each section covers different disease processes, with chapters focusing on specific disease entities such as acute myocardial infarction in the section on ischemic heart disease. The other sections cover functional disease, right ventricular and congenital heart disease, vascular/pericardium, interventional, and economics and guidelines.

This is a very thorough book on the physics of cardiac MRI and its utility in addressing patients with suspected or known heart, valvular, pericardial, or congenital heart disease.
