Carlson Merrow, Jr., MD, FAAP is the Corning Benton Chair for Radiology Education, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is a co-author of Imaging in Pediatrics.
Dr. Merrow received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He performed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, focusing on pediatric musculoskeletal MRI and pediatric neuroimaging. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric Radiology.
Dr. Merrow’s interests at Cincinnati Children’s include fetal imaging, vascular anomalies, and fellow education. He has received the Corning Benton Outstanding Educator Award from four graduating classes of pediatric radiology fellows, and was also selected for the first annual Faculty Educational Achievement Award from amongst all junior faculty of Cincinnati Children’s in 2011. Dr. Merrow has published many scientific and educational papers and book chapters, lectured at numerous national meetings, and helped develop educational content for many online resources.
