Aliya Husain, MD is a professor of pathology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She is an active researcher, currently studying genetic mutations in lung cancer, and antibody-mediated rejection in heart and lung transplant. She is author of more than nine book chapters and more than fifty publications. She is also author of Thoracic Pathology a volume in the High Yield Pathology series.
Dr. Husain is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and pediatric pathology. She holds professional memberships with the Chicago Pathology Society, Illinois Registry of Anatomic Pathologists, Pulmonary Pathology Society, the Society for Pediatric Pathologists, and the Canadian Academy of Pathology.
