Bradley W. Kesser, MD is Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is a co-author of Dizziness and Vertigo Across the Lifespan.

 

Dr. Kesser attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at the University of Virginia. Following a two year fellowship in Otology-Neurotology at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles, he worked in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia with a clinical appointment at Emory University.

 

He returned to the faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia to continue the pioneering work of Dr. Robert Jahrsdoerfer, the world’s foremost authority on surgery for congenital middle ear malformations and aural atresia. Dr. Kesser currently specializes in aural atresia, hearing loss, dizziness and balance disorders, skull base tumors, acoustic neuroma, and chronic ear disease including cholesteatoma. His research interests also include a simulation tool used for teaching diagnostic otoscopy and myringotomy with ventilation tube insertion. He serves as the Program Director for the OHNS Department.

 

Dr. Kessler has been on the Best Doctors in America list for multiple consecutive years, and has been inducted into the University of Virginia Academy of Distinguished Educators.
