Chadwick Prodromos, MD is Medical Director, Illinois Orthoapedics and Sports Medicine Centers and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University College of Medicine in Chicago. He is the author of The Anterior Cruciate Ligament, 2nd Edition.
Dr. Prodromos received his MD from Johns Hopkins Medical School. After a surgical internship at the University of Chicago, he did his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and performed an Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Prodromos is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine; the International Cartilage Repair Society; the Arthroscopy Association of North America; the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine; and the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy. He has served as the Team Orthopaedic Surgeon at Harper College, President of Illinois Sportsmedicine and Orthopaedic Centers, and is a former Medical Director of Arena Football League. He has also served on the editorial board of Arthroscopy: The Journal for Arthroscopy and Related Surgery.
