Eric D. Hsi, MD is the section head of hematopathology and medical director of the hematology, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry labs in the Institute of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is an expert in lymphoma diagnosis, and has published more than 120 peer-reviewed articles and numerous books chapters. He is author of the textbook Hematopathology, a volume in the Foundations in Diagnostic Pathology series.

Dr. Hsi’s clinical interests include leukemia and lymphoma diagnosis, immunophenotyping, and molecular diagnosis. He conducts grant and government-sponsored research of diagnostic and biologic prognostic markers in hematologic malignancy and in the development of new therapeutics. Dr. Hsi is on the editorial boards of several renowned journals and serves on committees for the American Society of Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
