Jeffrey L. Medeiros, MD is Professor and Chair, Department of Hematopathology, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He is a co-author of Diagnostic Pathology: Lymph Nodes and Extranodal Lymphomas, 2nd Edition.

Dr. Medeiros received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He did his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the New England Deaconess Hospital and fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Immunopathology at the Stanford University Medical Center, and in Hematopathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Medeiros serves on the editorial boards of several pathology journals, has an extensive list of journal publications, and has contributed chapters to 26 textbooks on the pathology of cancer and hematopathology.
