Jennifer Hart, MPAS, ATC, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant at the Sports Medicine Center at Fontaine, University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a co-author of Orthopaedics for Physician Assistants, Review of Orthopaedics, 6th Edition, and Essential Orthopaedics.
Hart completed a BS in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training at Marietta College and received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham College. She worked in a family practice from 1998-2002 and then went to the University of Virginia, where she has been working as a PA in the sports division of the orthopaedic surgery department. Her primary responsibilities are clinical, although she also has helped to coordinate division research studies and clinical trials.
Hart specializes in sports medicine, with a particular emphasis on the shoulder and knee. She is NCCPA certified.
