Ruth Ballweg, MPA, is a well-known physician assistant educator who is currently a professor and director of the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington. She is an author of Physician Assistant, 5th Edition.

Darwin Brown, MPH, is a co-author of Physician Assistant: A Guide to Clinical Practice, 5th Edition and an assistant professor in the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
