Kate V. Meriwether, MD, FACOG is Assistant Professor and Assistant Fellowship Director, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She is a co-author of Obstetrics & Gynecology Morning Report.

Dr. Meriwether received her medical degree from Michigan State University. She completed a residency at Medstar Washington Hospital in Washington, D.C., followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of New Mexico Hospital,  Albuquerque.

Dr. Meriwether specializes in female pelvic prolapse, incontinence, painful bladder and overactive bladder disorders, and mesh complications.
