Ming Zhou, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pathology and is the Director of Surgical Pathology within the NYU Department of Pathology at Tisch Hospital. His clinical expertise focuses on pathological diagnosis of genitourinary disease, and his research focuses on the discovery and validation of the diagnostic and prognostic markers for genitourinary malignancy.
Dr. Zhou has authored more than 100 research articles and book chapters, and has co-edited several textbooks, including the text Uropathology, a volume in the High Yield Pathology Series. He also serves on several editorial boards. He is certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Zhou has earned multiple awards, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology Autopsy Award, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology Stowell-Orbison Award, and the Young Investigators Award from the Johns Hopkins Department of Pathology.
