Richard A. McPherson, MD is Chair of the Division of Clinical Pathology, Director of Clinical Pathology Services, and Harry P. Dalton Professor of Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Pathology. His clinical specialties include clinical chemistry, microbiology, and hematology and immunology. He is well-regarded in his field, and has received the Distinguished Service Award of the American Society for Clinical Pathology Commission on Continuing Education. Dr. McPherson is an editor of the 22nd edition of Henry’s Clinical Diagnosis and Management by Laboratory Methods.
