Rick D. Kellerman, MD is Professor and Chair, Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita. He is a co-author of Conn’s Current Therapy 2019.
Dr. Kellerman received his MD from University of Kansas School of Medicine and performed a Clinical Teaching fellowship at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco, Texas.
Dr. Kellerman is nationally known in family medicine, having served on the board of the American Academy of Family Physicians and as president of the AAFP. He has also served as president of the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians. He has received numerous awards and honors; the Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program received the Outstanding Rural Health Program in America Award from the National Rural Health Association Award while he was the program director.
Dr. Kellerman has served with dozens of community service programs and frequently provides volunteer medical services. He has many professional publications to his credit and dozens of presentations to both professional and lay audiences. He has written more than two dozen successful grant applications for health care providers and agencies.
