Robert S. Hockberger, MD, Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, serves as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a senior editor of Rosen’s Emergency Medicine: Concepts and Clinical Practice, 7th Edition.

Dr. Hockberger is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and past president of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has received numerous awards for his contributions to emergency medicine, including the “Outstanding Contributions to Education Award” from California American College of Emergency Physicians in 1992 and from National ACEP in 1995. Dr. Hockberger also received the “Political Leadership Award” from California ACEP in 2004.
