Romil Saxena, MD, MBBS, FRCPath, holds a special research interest in liver and gastrointestinal pathology, and has been published extensively in the field. She serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. A recognized medical researcher in the field, Dr. Saxena has served as Resident in Anatomic Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Fellow in Liver Pathology and Gene Therapy at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Fellow in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Yale University Medical Center and Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology. She is the editor of Practical Hepatic Pathology: A Diagnostic Approach, a volume in the Pattern Recognition Series.
